Brief Notes
The United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade) contains detailed imports and exports statistics reported by statistical authorities of close to 200 countries or areas. It is a depository of international trade data with more than 1.1 billion data records, grouped by commodity and country. Commodities are classified according to SITC,  the Harmonized System (HS) and Broad Economic Categories (BEC). 


Data Type Statistics and charts
Coverage Time series of data for reporter countries starts as far back as 1962 and goes up to the most recent completed year.
