What is full text @NTU Library?
Full text @NTU Library is a web browser bookmarklet that allows NTU staff and students to seamlessly retrieve full text articles or e-books subscribed by NTU Library while surfing the internet. Install it as a favorite link in Internet Explorer or as a bookmark in other web browsers and you are all set. Click on it to redirect any webpage you are at through the NTU Library ezproxy service. Login with your NTU Network account to gain access to subscribed resources instantly.
When do you use it?
Scenario 1
You find an important journal article using Scholar Google or your favorite search engine but when you click on the link you discover that it does not lead to the full text.
Scenario 2
You have subscribed to email alerts from key journal publishers. They send you emails containing journal articles of interest to you. You click on these links and a message pops up asking you to purchase the articles.
Scenario 3
Your research collaborator from another university sends you an email with links to several critical journal articles for your research. You click on these links and a message pops up indicating that you do not have the necessary access rights.

How do you install it?
Method 1: Add the Library Toolbar to your browser
Click here to add the Library Toolbar on your browser. You will see the Full Text icon on your toolbar.
Method 2: Add to browser Favourites
For Internet Explorer
Right click on this link: "full text @NTU Library" and select
"Add to Favorites". Open your IE favorites and make sure that you see full text
@NTU Library amongst your favorites.
For Firefox.
Right click on this link: "full text @NTU Library" and select
"Bookmark This Link". Click on Bookmarks and make sure that you see full text
@NTU Library amongst your bookmarks.
For Safari
Drag and drop this link: "full text @NTU Library" to your Safari’s browser toolbar as per below.

Note
Full text @NTU Library may not work for all subscribed resources because not every database is compatible with the NTU Library ezproxy service. If you are having difficulties locating your journal articles even with full text @NTU Library, approach your subject librarian for help. Finally, for materials not subscribed by NTU Library, you may make use of the document delivery service, interlibrary loans (for books) or New Title Recommendation.
